“You Are Not for Sale” Poster Design Contest

BACKGROUND
July 30 marks the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. Themed "Reach every victim of trafficking, leave no one behind", this year campaign aims to raise awareness of disturbing developments and trends; and calls on governments, law enforcement, public services, and civil society to assess and enhance their efforts to strengthen prevention, identify and support victims, and end impunity.
In celebration of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2023, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Viet Nam would like to invite you to participate in our “YOU ARE NOT FOR SALE” Poster Design Contest. Through the contest, IOM Viet Nam seeks to raise public awareness on human trafficking issues both in the country and around the world; and highlight efforts made to combat trafficking in persons and support the successful reintegration of victims into their communities of return.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
Who can join: Vietnamese nationals of all ages residing in Viet Nam or abroad.
What to do: Draw or design 01 poster with the theme “YOU ARE NOT FOR SALE” and submit a short description of your poster (no more than 250 words).
The poster should be drawn on A1 paper (59.4 x 84.1 cm) or in digital formats (PDF, PNG, JPG, etc.). Contestants shall submit their original drawings/project files to IOM Viet Nam upon request.
Timeline:
- 05/06/2023: Contest launch
- 02/07/2023: Submission deadline
- 03/07 – 16/07/2023: Online voting on IOM Viet Nam and Think Before You Go – a Facebook Page run by IOM Viet Nam, providing information on safe migration and human trafficking
- 30/07/2023: Winner announcement
Selection criteria: All submissions will be evaluated by a judging panel based on the following criteria:
- Relevancy to the contest’s theme and requirements
- Creativity
- Impact
- Online voting
