The 15th Border Control Agency Management Program (BCAMP)
Head of Programmes and Project Development and Implementation Unit, Mr. Paul Priest, participated and shared experiences with learners together with Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Government uniting immigration and border managers in Asia, Mr Layton Pike, at the 15th Border Control Agency Management Program (BCAMP) in Hanoi.
BCAMP is an three-week Australian Government sponsored program, delivered in partnership with the Government of Vietnam and RMIT University.
IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration with 157 member states, and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners.
IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.
The course strengthens regional migration management efforts and builds important relationships and trust between immigration and border officials throughout ASEAN. BCAMP 15 includes participants from eight ASEAN countries, almost half of whom are women. More than 300 immigration managers have now graduated from the BCAMP program since it commenced in 2010.
