Career Day 2018 at the Saigon South International School (SSIS) included IOM HCMC's Head of Office
Career Day 2018 at the Saigon South International School (SSIS) included IOM HCMC's Head of Office, Mark Brown. Over 100 SSIS students between 16 and 18 years old attended his sessions on jobs in international relations. SSIS has a very active and popular Model UN, so the students know a lot about IOM. The sessions were very interactive, with lots of good questions on how to start a career in the humanitarian sector, what's a typical work day, what helps and hurts in getting jobs, and work-life balance of refugee workers.
