Children against Human Trafficking
Dakrong, 15th Jan 2016
Nearly 100 students of Dakrong 2 Secondary School actively participated in various activities of the forum “Children against Human Trafficking” on 15th January 2016.
The forum, which consists of the awards announcement of a painting contest on knowledge about human trafficking, a performance developed and presented by the students themselves, a movie screening about an ethnic teenager’s trafficking experience, a provincial police department representative's presentation on the overall situation of trafficking in Quang Tri and several quizzes on knowledge about the prevention of human trafficking, has received positive response and enthusiastic engagement of the talented and creative students.
One of them cheerfully reflected: “I have never experienced such an enjoyable and informative event in my life. I am looking so much forward to similar activities in the future”.
This is an activity organized by IOM in co-operation with the Women’s Union of Quang Tri Province, with the financial support from the Italian Development Cooperation fund.
