Communication Event on Human Trafficking Prevention
Hoa Thanh, Chau Thanh, Tay Ninh, 12th May 2016
Last afternoon (May 12th), Vietnam IOM in collaboration with the Department of Social Vice Prevention, Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the provincial Women's Union organized successfully a communication event at Le Hong Phong high school in Hoa Thanh commune, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh.
Though the summer weather was hot, the atmosphere inside the event was much hotter and more vibrant. Through an interesting drama and performances by local artists, the messages about human trafficking prevention were effectively conveyed to over 300 students and local residents. As a hot spot with such a complex situation, Tay Ninh is expected to end this serious issue through the close collaboration of the local authorities and people.
The event was held within the framework of the project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Government.
