Communication Training Sessions 2
Ba Ria-Vung Tau, 14th-15th Jan 2016
Following the success of communication training sessions for local authority staff in three provinces (Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh), IOM Vietnam has organized a two-day communication training session in Ba Ria-Vung Tau (14-15/01) and another later in Binh Thuan (18-19/01) for local authorities and public organization officer.
Through many useful activities and a participated learning approach, participants improved their communication skills for behaviour change related to irregular migration prevention from Vietnam to Australia by boat. A detailed plan was established according to which local authority staff will continue to host peer-to-peer communication events for local residents.
IOM Viet Nam would like to send its thanks to the effective cooperation and efforts of partners, local authorities and any individuals involved in the activity.
