The first counter-trafficking lesson for high-school students in Tay Ninh
Tay Ninh, August 25
On August 25, the first lesson on prevention of human trafficking has been successfully delivered by IOM Vietnam in the coordination with Department of Social Vice Prevention (DSVP) of Tay Ninh for over 30 students at Le Hong Phong High School.
Through such exciting educational activities as watching a short movie, telling stories with pictures, group discussion and presentation, the students enjoyed an interesting lesson of Civil Education while learning about advice not to fall victims to human trafficking.
In the coming period, 8 lessons with useful content will be conducted by school teachers and staff from DSVP of Tay Ninh to many more students, in order to raise public awareness to prevent human trafficking.
This is the first lesson on counter-trafficking in Tay Ninh under an IOM project funded by the International Development Cooperation of the Italian Government.
