IOM Vietnam donated computers and IT equipment to the Vietnamese Red Cross in Phu Yen and Dak Lak.
IOM Vietnam donated computers and IT equipment to the Vietnamese Red Cross in Phu Yen and Dak Lak. (March 2018)
The two organizations worked closely on relief to Vietnam's Phu Yen and Dak Lak provinces after Typhoon Damrey in November of last year. The effort was funded by the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund, which provided almost USD 1m for the most needed non-food items for the local population. The computers were funded directly by IOM, and the Red Cross was extremely appreciative for the assistance.
