IOM's Global Migration Film Festival contributed the movie “2 girls” in connection with International Women’s Day 2018
On 07 March, IOM's Global Migration Film Festival contributed the movie “2 girls” in connection with International Women’s Day. The event was organized at the U.S Consulate General and received great participation and engagement from the audience.
The screening was followed by a discussion where panelists from IOM and Center For Social Work Community Development Research And Consultancy (SDRC) shared their thoughts and lessons learned from the movie as well as their experience working on migration in Vietnamese context. The audience was lively and had many questions about migration in Viet Nam and globally.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the next film, "This Is Not Paradise", will take place on March 28 at the U.S. Consulate General.
