The national day on anti-trafficking in persons – Vietnam 30/07
Since 2016, the Prime Minister has decided to select the July 30 as the "National Day on Anti-Trafficking in Persons" in coincidence with "World Day on Anti-Trafficking in Persons" chosen by the UN since 2013.
IOM has been working to counter trafficking in persons since the mid-nineties. Globally, IOM has assisted over 85,000 trafficked persons and, in 2015, one in seven identified victims of trafficking worldwide received specialized protection and assistance services from IOM.
