Training workshop on “Counselling skill and providing friendly services to migrants”
Nghe An, June 14th to 15th 2016
The training workshop on “Counselling skill and providing friendly services to migrants” was organized in Nghe An for 35 officials from Women’s Union (WU) at different levels, Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Legal Aid Center and some departments of Nghe An province.
This is the 2nd training in the framework of the project “Strengthening government capacity to support vulnerable migrants in Greater Mekong Sub-region and Malaysia”implemented by IOM in collaboration with WU of Nghe An.
Through this training, the staff practiced their skills to effectively consult for migrants there, in preparation for the operation of the Migrant Resource Center MRC Nghe An and the migrant supporting network in the province which will be inaugurated on June 16th.
The project is funded by the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration of the US Department of State (PRM).
