Tay Ninh 23 November, 2016
On November 23, the “Workshop on Ethical Recruitment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Social Responsibility of Enterprises” was successfully organized between IOM Vietnam and Department of Social Vice Prevention and Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Tay Ninh, with delegates from several departments and local recruitment companies in Trang Bang and Phuoc Dong industrial zones, Tay Ninh.
IOM and the participants actively discussed about ethical recruitment, policies to ensure social welfare and occupational safety for workers in industrial zones. The topics of priorities and support in working and living conditions for female workers and migrant workers have received great attention of the delegates, especially from the management board of Trang Bang industrial zone.
Positive feedbacks and interests from the private sector have laid foundation for better cooperation with IOM in the coming period.
