Travel Assistance

Experienced IOM Operations staff provide efficient travel arrangements on all major air carriers to final destinations, particularly to Australia, Canada and the USA, ensuring a simple and convenient process for approved applicants and sponsors.

In addition, IOM’s Operations Team provides airport assistance at embarkation, transit and destination ports of entry, as well as assisting with air travel formalities. Provision of detailed information on transit and arrival destinations is also provided to facilitate migrants’ journeys to their destination country. This service greatly reduces stress and anxiety for migrants, especially first-time flyers.

IOM is the sole organization that can directly meet migrants and assist all immigration procedures at major ports of entry. IOM has teams of Vietnamese-speaking staff at, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles airports to meet and assist migrants in entry-processing and connecting with domestic flights if necessary.
