Quang Binh, 4 April 2019 – Throw-back memories! On 4 April, IOM, the Immigration Department (MPSI Central) and Quang Binh Immigration Division (Quang Binh MPSI), the State Bank, and the Department of Labour and Social Affairs met with the residents of Bao Ninh and Quang Phu. Over 200 participants learned best practices of safe migration. Key topics included safe and irregular migration, how to decide to migrate and what to prepare for, and how to stay safe. Enthusiastic participation also prompted questions on visa policies and immigration. This is the first of a series of events that will be held in Quang Binh to prevent people from undertaking dangerous journeys to the sea. Learn more about this initiative at link.
