Capacity Building and Communication Campaign to Prevent People Smuggling in Viet Nam

Brief description of project/Objectives: The project focuses on increasing sensitization of policy-makers and law-makers on current gaps in national legal anti-smuggling provisions in relation to international standards and recommendations to ensure compliance; enhancing knowledge and technical skills on detection of human smuggling, counter-smuggling procedures and follow-up processes at the frontline; strengthening interprovincial and regional collaboration and community-surveillance through capacity-building and awareness-raising
